Our server, Said, was lovely. We were in town to pick up my little brother and decided to get brunch. Safe to say, we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. He was incredibly kind with order adjustments, thoughtful with suggestions when we asked for recommendations, and made the entire experience pleasant. The food was delicious as well. My dad loved the biscuit and gravy. The rest of us got the lamb shakshouka, omelette, steak & eggs, and corned beef hash & eggs. The atmosphere was lively and great for larger groups. We love Silver Diner and have visited various northern Virginia locations for breakfast whenever possible. This morning, we decided to try the one in Arlington, and our dining experience was fantastic, as always. The restaurant has a nice retro diner feel with vintage-style illustrated posters, lighting fixtures, furniture, floor tiles, and other details throughout the interior. Our server, Said, provided excellent service. He was very amiable and checked on our table often to see if we needed anything else, making our dining experience extraordinary. The food was excellent. The turmeric carrot juice felt healthy, while the peach iced tea was freshly brewed and perfect. The corned beef with egg and nitrate-free bacon was filling and savory, and the Hickory Smokehouse cheddar burger was juicy and tasty. It was a great combination of sweetness from caramelized onions and BBQ sauce and saltiness from cheddar and bacon, which was mouth-watering. Our breakfast at Silver Diner was fantastic, and we loved every aspect.
Silver Diner is among our favorite places to go! Great atmosphere, healthier fare, delicious food. You can never go wrong! We've visited a couple of their locations including this one in Arlington. Always a good experience. This time, we waited quite a bit and the area was a bit loud because it's Valentines weekend.
Silver Diner absolutely deserves all five stars for their brunch! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, vibrant, and welcoming. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick without ever making the experience feel rushed. The food was the true highlight. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared—classic diner comfort with an elevated twist. The brunch menu had a perfect balance of sweet and savory options, and every dish came out hot and beautifully plated. The ingredients really stood out, especially the fresh produce and high-quality proteins. The coffee was strong and delicious, and the drink options were impressive for a diner-style spot. Portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and prices felt more than fair for the quality. Overall, Silver Diner nails the brunch experience: great service, great flavors, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!
What a great experience, the food is wonderful and fast. Service is great and it's a very large place. I had the Huevos rancheros and may be the best I've had. My wife had the classic eggs Benedict which she loved. The restaurant is very clean and has pretty cool vibes. They also have an outside patio area, which looks really cool, but it was too hot to be outside. Parking is easy they have a garage behind the restaurant and the validate parking which is really cool. They have a very large menue that you can order lunch and dinner items even at breakfast which I like. I will definitely be back!! I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
I enjoyed dining at Silver Diner. The food was delicious, with a great selection of entrees. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was comfortable—not cramped like other high-end diners. One area for improvement would be the kids' meals. The options are limited, and the portions aren't as generous compared to Ted’s. Overall, we loved the experience and have already returned twice. We’re looking forward to going back again soon
My friends and I visited Silver Diner for dinner on Sunday evening and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Rajan, was very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. He explained the menu clearly and was extremely helpful in guiding us with our order. Based on his recommendation, we ordered the triple chicken burger, which was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. We also tried the double-chicken penne pasta, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Both dishes were very satisfying and well prepared. Rajan’s excellent service,knowledge and guidance on the menu greatly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, we were very satisfied with both the food and the service, and we would gladly return to Silver Diner again.

Fantastic food! It's obvious there is a talented chef who has created the menu items. I ordered some spinach (without the standard garlic) and it was amazing! I found myself wondering how they prepared our to make it so tasty. I ordered cod as my main course - so delicious. And the bread pudding was one of the best I've ever heard. I'll be dining here again!
One of our favourite spots in Virginia. Food is always fantastic. I always get the grilled cheese and hot chocolate. One of my comfort meals at this point. The atmosphere is always comforting and the servers are really nice. Silver Diner is our go to for American cuisine! I’d recommend putting in lesser sugar in the desserts. It was too sweet. It’s not nice to harm customer health in the name of indulgence. Even with less sugar the items would taste good!
